The approach I follow is client/patient oriented.
It involves creating a caring and confidential relationship where you are understood, respected and valued. When you are in
my office, YOU are the most important person there. If you wish to invite a partner or friend, that is your choice. Even when
the session has begun, if you decide that you would rather not have the partner or friend there, again, that is your choice.
As a professional I have the understanding & experience of psychological development and the process of change,
but you know yourself best. You know what hurts, which issues you wish to address, and changes you would like to make.
The intention of Hypnotherapy is not to tell you what
to do, but to help you find your own way and to draw upon your own resources. I am a guide, your subconscious mind is the
ultimate healer. That subconscious part of you is there for one reason and one reason only. To protect you. The one draw back
with the subconscious is that it never grows up. It is, essentially, ageless. Problems occur when, for example, your subconscious
acts in such a way as to protect you when you were a child. The protection undoubtably worked as a child, but now, as a grown
up, the same protective technique does not work. It is our job, yours and mine, to show the subconscious the "error of
it's ways" and to bring it in line with the adult you as opposed to the child you. At the end of the sessions, I take the
adult you, under Hypnosis, back to give the child you a hug and to let that child know that everything is ok. The results
are emotional but phenominal to say the least.

Successful, lasting results may require several hypnotherapy sessions. You may
be required to listen to an audio tape of your session for reinforcement. You are responsible for actively cooperating with,
and participating in, the success of your program. Neither Michael Griffiths nor Life's Potential shall
be held accountable for the results you attain. You may have your hypnosis program terminated if deemed appropriate by Life's
Potential.
